when I stupidly downloaded a "free" game a few weeks ago my homepage was taken over by MyFreeze and I have been unable to get rid of it since.
I tried uninstalling Myfreeze, I also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and used several malware detection programs which had no effect. In desperation I even tried a homepage removal program from MyFreeze itself which did nothing. Am I stuck with it?

What programs have you tried using?

Have you tried the steps in the sticky at the head of the forum?

Try a few of the applications listed in the sticky, and then post a DSS log here to make sure you're clean.

Thanks aidan. Superantispyware allowed me to block the Firefox browser from defaulting to Myfreeze.
