Didn't the guy who writes it apologise for Season 2? It was pretty poor.

Yeah and I think he said season 3 would be better.

You cant be too hard on them though. They had to do a 22/24 episode season in 12 episodes.

Season 2 couldda done without the Oirish bits.

What season 2 could have done without is Jeph Loeb and his "hey, let's focus on people with interesting powers being really f*cking boring and angsty" crap. Seriously, when a guy's influence leads a show to drop so many viewers that the concept's creator has to publicly apologise for the drop in quality, it's time for someone to be kicked off the creative team.

Season 2 was a real let-down. I'm actually glad the writer's guild kicked in when it did, because it forced them to try and pack as much quality as they could into the 5 episodes they had left before the strike kicked in, rather than building towards the bigger storyline that they were trying to make out of a series of ingredients that were mostly just not very interesting.

I don't know, I was ok with the whole Peter forgetting his powers thing except for their accursed concept of an Irish accent, the amount of genuine Irish over there you think they'd at least put in the effort to get someone in to tell them that no-one here speaks like that!
FFS they could've even kept with the Star Trek worship and gotten Colm Meaney in.
The Hiro in the past thing was a bit drawn out and could've done with being cut back on, as could Claire's adjusting to her new school probably.

Glad BBC have gotten the show and not Sky, in the end I have to say I was pretty happy with Season 2...sure it started off slow but it did end well

Agreed. It's set up brilliantly for S3. Hopefully we'll get more of Sylar! Love Heroes, only series I'll watch without looking at spoilers. Love just watching it and being surprised.

Can't wait for season 3. I thought that season 2 was great as well although not quite as good as 1

I was dispappointed with season 2 after season 1 being so good, didn't think it ended well either especially since it orginally wasn't scripted that way

Hopefully season 3 will be better and I think it will with sylar back, some of the best bits of season 2 i thought were the scences with him in it

    Sylar is class

season 2 was decent and well watchable, i dont know why people would stop watching a show because of a few bad episodes. it was 12 episode season and it lost viewers? id love to know a week for week rating report to know what episodes effected the ratings the most, chances are that people just downloaded it, instead of sitting at home and dealing with adds id say people thought "its decent but i have more important things to do on a monday night, ill just download it and watch it when i am bored"

i did hate the story about your one with the eyes

The last few episodes of Season 2 were great. But the first few were boring. They spent too long on Peter forgetting who he is and Hiro in the past. Hopefully Adam will be back in Season 3. Maybe Adam and Sylar team up.

It seems likely that Adam will return, one of the webcomics strongly implied it.

anybody know how much of a gap there will between its airing in US and bbc?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,534 ✭✭✭Dman001

There shouldn't be much according to the DS article. There was only a few days gap when RTE got Lost and Prison Break so I'd imagine BBC could do the same. Both NBC and BBC would prefer to have as little of a gap as possible to avoid people watching on the internet illegaly.

Edit: According to the DS article "it will be aired simultaneously by the BBC in the UK"
