    Hi,

I'm thinking of going to Argentina for around 25 days next April/may. I'm thinking of flying in and out of BA.

What i would like to do is see the Amazon jungle and maybe spend a few day in it, trekking and relaxing there. I spent three night in it before in south Peru and loved it.

What I'd like to know is how possible is it to do this in the amount of time i have? I was thinking of going to Bolivia to do it, not sure where abouts. I definitely want to spend some time in Argentina on the holiday.

    Any help would be great!

I'd definitely recommend going into Bolivia. YOu could head north to Salta and cross over the border there and take in the Salt FLats in Uyuni. AFAIK the best place in Bolivia for jungley type stuff is Rurrenabaque which is a lovely little village. Jumngle and Pampas tours organised from there. You can fly to Rurre from La Paz. Cool flight as you fly over some of the Andes and get an excellent view!!

    Cheers,

Would you have any idea of how long it would take to get there from BA and back? Only want to spend time in the jungle in Bolivia, and the rest of the time in Argentinian.

depends how you want to do it I suppose. I was taking in various places on route so bout four weeks. Check out if you can fly to La Paz from BA or Salta maybe? Suspect you can in which case you could fly onto Rurre then... There is also an overnighter bus that goes from Salta but it's a seriously long journey.
