    yeah that image is an obvious PS job :-) It makes sense though, for nikon to release a pro-sumer FF body. They already have their canon pro body killer in the D3 (and probable upcoming D3x), but they really need something positioned to compete with the canon semi-pro FF body (can't remember actual canon model numbers). They could do this by introducing a new line (so the lineup will consist of consumer bodies (d40/60/80/90?), up market consumer bodies (d200/300/400?), up market FF consumer bodies (d10 ?) and then the FF pro bodies (D3, D3x), or alternatively the upgrade on the D300 could be it. Hard to tell. Chances are either which way it'll very probably kill the d300 and successor unless its significantly more expensive. Look at the way that D2 and D2x prices have gone ever since the D300 came out :rolleyes:

    More out of interest than doubt, I'd like to know what gives it away as a PS for you?

    Although I'd have said that mirror is about right...

    Or maybe it'll be a 1.3x :D

    Its not really obvious from the image, just the whole hoopla around the rumour, when these rumours start there are always loads of PSd images purporting to be leaked images of the actual cameras. This one is very obviously a D3 with the D10 ps'd in , and the body shortened to look like the d300. Also little things like the fact Nikon hasn't released a consumer or semi-pro model in years that didn't have a pop up flash.
