    • There's Irish pub called "embassy" or something like that. You can meet there few Irish immigrants and ask about life. ;)
    • 30-40 miles from the city, the world biggest death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau
    • A lot of great pubs and restaurants at Old Town

    • Something forgotten by most of Travel agencies.. Wieliczka Salt Mine! That's awesome, The mine reaches down to a depth of 327 meters and is over 300 km long!! It's also underground town with museums, restaurants, shops.. 15 miles from Krakow.

    • 150-200 miles on southern-east. One of the Europe's best places for ski and other snow sports. That area is also home of Europe's rare animals, BEARS! :D Place called Zakopane.

    • If you'll get more time some day, visit one of my favorite's Polish places, Bieszczady National Park. About 350 miles on east from Krakow. You can go for climbing, great walk, great regional beer and food. You can also rent a small boat and sail down the lakes between the hills. Just look at this:
