For anyone heading to Salzburg be sure to pick up a Salzburg card at the bookshop in the airport. They come in 24/36/72 hr versions and start from 24 euros. Travel on buses and entry to all museums/castles are free with it, including the bus from the airport to the city. But the best value of all is the normally 18 euro…

For anyone heading to Salzburg be sure to pick up a Salzburg card at the bookshop in the airport. They come in 24/36/72 hr versions and start from 24 euros. Travel on buses and entry to all museums/castles are free with it, including the bus from the airport to the city. But the best value of all is the normally 18 euro boat trip on the Salbach River which is also free. Out of town Salzburg zoo and a cable car ride are also included.
