wooden blinds

Hello,

I'm looking for wooden venetian blinds, but our kitchen window is 5 ft wide (approx 150 cm) and most blinds we have come across are 160 cm wide.

We are hoping to get them off the shelf, as we don't have a huge budget.. can anyone recommend where is good place to go the get these? Somewhere in Cork if possible - we will get them made if we absolutely have to, but I'd like to know where anyone else purchased before blowing the budget completely!

Theres actually companys now that you can pay by the week, dont know if theres one in Cork though but you could always try. We got all our house done in the wooden blinds & its working out at 25 quid a week, saves paying out a hefty chunk!

Why buy off the shelf, when you can get made to measure and free fitting for about the same price?

Any recommendations from people who have gotten venetian blinds either off the shelf or fitted (Dublin Area)?

2-Stroke -> Any company in particular that came out at roughly the same price as off the shelf?

I don't know if its available in dublin, but outside dublin several blind shops do free measuring & free fitting.
