Is it possible?

Hi everyone. I'm in good physical shape. I get regular exercise and I have a pretty decent diet. I don't eat junk food or any fizzy drinks aside from Coke Zero and 7 Up Free which have no sugar. Usually I will drink water anyway but they are a bit of a treat. My carb intake is a little large. Toasted sandwiches for breakfast. Rice or a Sub for lunch or in the evening. The odd brown bun or roll with a cup of tea in the evening. I don't eat the same thing everyday which makes it difficult to give an outline.
The issue is that I have what I've heard one or two people recently refer to as a muffin top. The term seems insulting to me, but what it is is an excess of fat around my mid section. A spare tire and love handles pretty much. I used to be a good bit more over weight and very unfit but reading this board and posting a couple of topics helped a great deal. Now I want to loose this damn unsightly flab in the next month. About thirty days. Is it possible?
I'm cycling for 45 minutes 2 or three times a week as well as being generally physically active at work. What kind of a diet would I require and is it doable?
I'm about 5' 10" and close to ten stone.

Ten stone and 5'10" is not overweight, so try to keep a sense of proportion. No-one is ever happy with every bit of their body, even the ones who get up on stages wearing a lot of pro-tan.

You've said it yourself, your diet is carb-heavy. Try eating to eggs or porridge for breakfast (I love mushroom and herb omlettes), and instead of a sandwich at lunch, keep the filling but eat it on top of a huge green salad. At dinner time, keep your usually meat/chicken but eat it with lots of extra vegetables instead of rice/pasta or spuds.
