    Hi all,

    One for the ladies here.

One of the girls in work is looking to get false eyelashes done for her wedding and she's thinking of going to The Lash Bar/One at Powerscourt Centre in dublin 2.

I've heard mixed reviews about the place.

Has anyone here had experience with them and has anyone an idea of price? They have a website but it doesn't seem to be up and running yet.

    Thanks
    Orlee

A friend of mine got them done there about two weeks ago and they came off the following morning. She got a set in Boots the following week and did them herself and practically had to pry them off.

Have to say based on her experience I wouldn't exactly be rushing there

i got mine done in one lash bar for my 21st! they were great! lasted a full week before any started to fall off! think it cost 30euro! youve to make an appointment so might aswell ring or call in and double check the prices! you can get them removed in there too! costs to do so...! When you have false lashes you're not supposed to touch them or put any oily products ie make up or make up remover near them! because that would make them fall out!

    Hi
I got them done in December. I was told they'd last 10-14 days, and they'd need 8 hours to dry.
I got them done that morning, and that night when I went out they looked great. The problem was that despite waiting over 8 hours to put on my eye makeup, the eyeshadow mingles with the glue. I couldn't wash off the eyeshadow, it was stuck in the lashes. Looked ridiculous.
They came out in dribs and drabs after a couple of days, and i ended up removing them myself. They were over priced crap. And to add insult to injury, my own lashes were spidery and broken for a couple of weeks. I'd recommend just getting regular stick on lashes and doing it at home. Half the price, none of the hassle.
