    Hi,

I'm not really into flowers so I don't see the point in spending a alot on them for my wedding. I'm spending a fortune on everything else so I'm not saying this out of meanness!! Does anyone else feel the same? Any suggestions? Or has anyone dealt with a florist in the Slane area who didn't fleece them?

    Thanks

I did not decide on flowers until 4 days before our wedding - I did not see them as important, certainly, I did not want a church decked out in flowers. Having said that, looking back the flowers were stunning and we did have a lot of our personality in the bouquet (Sunflowers as I love them, Fresias as they are my husbands favorite flowers). We ended up spending around 200 Eur but my MIL did the flower arranging.

I would just have a small tastefull bouquet if I was you, looking back, along with the cake they were some of the special things from the day (apart from of course being married to my lovely husband).
