Anyone able to clear this up... Taker's had a huge influence on my wrestling memories.

One of my earliest memories was watching him Tombstone Hogan onto a steel chair with the assist of Ric Flair, countless other highlights since then, but can't really imagine that his career would end on that note.

Anyway, huge Taker fan, and hoping someone will tell me he's injured and it's a work.

    Ta

Nah, he'll be back. Not injured either, he's working WWE's Australian tour soon to replace the Big Show, who is injured

It's a work, the chances are he'll be back around Rumble time and finish up at Mania finally dropping his streak in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

I've been wrong before, but thats my prediction.
    Rest easy now :)

(see, not one ounce of bitching from me!)

I think he'll be back well before the Rumble. Either wrestling or returning at Summerslam I'd say

At the moment,Taker is slated to return in late July in a storyline leading to a Summerslam Showdown with Edge,
Taker did indeed take some time off to heal some nagging injuries, but there was also a feeling that his program with Edge needed to be put on the shelf,at least for a little while.
They want to continue it,but it was going to run out of steam without a major angle.
The creative team wasn't told about Undertakers leave of absence untill a week ahead of time.

    Hope this helps.:D

he's definitely not gone for good......he'll be like ric flair and stay around for years.....................

ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL WRESTLERS OF ALL TIME!!!!

even 'if' it was his last match in the WWE they wouldnt have let him lost a match to edge as a send off...... If he was to go they would have to induct him into the Hall Of fame 1st!!!!

he still has a few memorable matches left in him i think!!!!
    Anyone Agree!!

Most wrestlers are retired or at least semi-retired before they go in the hall of fame.

Why not let Edge end his career, he's a main event superstar and the best heel in the company. He's a solid worker who's been a solid worker for over a decade. And is going to be a top star for the forseeable future unless something unexpected happens.

    So why not edge?
    Better him than Batista

Edge is a brilliant heel....one of the best...i'd say they'll lose a few $$$$$$$ if they let him go.....

ps....i hate batista...see the ridiculous match wit him and shawn micheals!!! STUPID!

Edge is the best and biggest heel in WWE at present why not let him end Taker's career but it would better to end it at WM.

I think Taker will be back maybe at the Draft he comes to RAW

They've said many times that the Undertaker can't return in the draft. I think there'll be something like Vicky finding out that Edge was using her so she'll bring back the Undertaker. Or a new GM who brings him back. He'll look like a sore loser if he just comes back of his own accord!

One way or another whoever dumps who, its going to be impossible for both of them to stay heel.

Taker is retiring next year....it's both his twentieth years as a pro wrestler and WM's silver anniversary. He was due to retire this year but didn't want anything to take away from Flair
