    I got a gift of Ps3 the weekend and im looking to connect it to my 24' iMac as im going to buy a tv just for the ps3 ?

    Can anyone tell me what I need and some advice on how to do it

    To use the imac's display? Not possible I'm afraid. The imac has no video in port.

    Presumably he could buy a USB video-capture card, or a TV tuner card and use that?

    Yeah, I hadn't thought of that. The Eyetv 250 would do the trick I guess. But for the price I think he'd be better off investing in a hdtv.
