    I would say that it should be a size limit not an age limit. No-one with large cellulitey thighs should wear them. If you have the figure then go for it.

    I wear black leggings in winter under mini skirts...I'm almost 25 btw...so there's no "age limit". Wear them if they look good.

    they should never be worn on their own, and even under something is only ok if you have legs like pencils

    Never on their own.. but i wear them alot with long tops and skirts.. I'm 20 and I dont know any of my friends that dont own a pair..

    Ugh, seconded. Especially the white ones, they show all the orange peely skin.

    ewww. I suppose they're okay up to yr mid-twenties if you have a good figure and you're wearing them under a dress or something but....ugh never ever on their own no matter what your shape..if you're skinny you'll look like an 8 year old and if you're not you'll look ridiculous... :/ all the fun patterned ones from when we were little were amazing tho =)
