Abraham stops him this time. Mirandas chin took a battering vs Pavlik, and, with the weight issues Miranda has been suffering, I can't see him not being stopped.

Too many peole buy into the Media hype {Max Kellerman, Steve Dunce} and try to make out that Miranda was robbed, Miranda had him going, Miranda this, Miranda that....Germans cheat etc.

For the opening 3 rounds, Miranda couldn't do ANYTHING with Abraham. Abraham made a mistake and got tagged, but even with his jaw smashed, he competently outboxed Miranda for large stretches, and even had him going at times.

Even without the points deductions......Miranda still lost clearly.

Abraham is always in EXCELLENT condition. This time, he takes Miranda out.

Ill be looking for streams for this too,......... also streams for andy berto this weekend, and wouldnt mind seeing Kessler if i can hook up a german stream.

Anybody that finds any streams should share them here amongst our small boxing community on boards.

I dont know about anybody else , but im a bit of an insomniac , it is nothing for me to stay up till 7am watching boxing cards thruout a saturday night/sunday morning... It's a rare one if i ever miss a match-up.

Thank funk for the internet , it has saved the sport of boxing.

Miranada's punch resitance was non existant, looks like he was totally weight drained. There had been rumours of this since the first photo's of him came out this week.

Abraham is just a whole lot better than any of you were prepared to admit. He's a heavy handed, fast, tough mother who is always in shape. And he's smart too.

What's even more impressive about Abraham's win is that he was fighting with a broken rib from the start of the fight . The injury was kept under wraps in training as they still were confident about going ahead with the fight and winning and didn't want Miranda's camp to hear about it .

I got the predicition wrong but I'm not going to say anything about weight draining , Abraham is a big puncher and caught Miranda with some big shots , simple as .

Going into this Abraham had proven he had the better one shot power , the better chin and the better defence .
While Miranda throws a lot more punches(Abraham can have a very low workrate at times) , also has good but not as good power , a big reach advantage and more aggresion .

I felt Miranda's activity would be enough to get the decision on points but I knew if Abraham won it would be by ko , because he can really punch(as shown by his string of devastating knockouts in recent times) . The Khoren Gevor knockout is particularly brutal .

there`s only person in here making excuses, miranda was in excellent shape, probably the best of his career, he was on weight 2 days before. so that guys arguement really has no basis.

I think you are quoting me here but let me be clear, I predicted Abraham to win and I really rate him very highly and believe he has a really excellent chance against Pavlik. So there is no conspiracy on here against your man King Arthur so don't be pretending to pick fights where they don't exist.

The weight drained comments came after a long nights drinking and playing poker/watching fight on laptop (in chinese). I have been reading eastside boxing comments all week and this was the general consensus on wednesday (I believe) when photo's of him first came out. The consensus was that he looked a little too 'ripped' which would normally be a sign of low water content in the body/dehydration.

I think I didn't realise the power of some of the Abraham punches when posting above. reviewing footage today I realise that the left hook leading to the second knockdown would have floored a horse!!

So Conclusion: Props to Abraham for a great performance and roll on the Pavlik fight.....


Edit: and the only reason I picked Abraham on points was because the idea of the competition is to score as many points as possible. You score nothing extra for predicting a KO over a points win unless you get the round right. This is a point I already brought up with cowzerp and I think he will change it next year.
IMO it is a better bet to predict a points win as there is more chance of that happening than getting a particular round spot on.
