Wedding Cars...

I am (we are! ;)) looking at wedding cars at the moment. But we've run into a bit of hassle... Namely, we're keen on getting an Ivory / White Rolls Royce Silver Cloud as our car, but we also want to get something that will sit the 6 bridesmaids & groomsmen.

We're thinking of something along the lines of a streched Mercedes or similar, but unfortunately the only places we can find that do both the Silver Cloud and streches only have BLACK streches. We're a little concerned that it's going to look a bit funeral like... It'd be nice to get something a little closer to the the Ivory / White that we'll go for...

I've searched high and low on the web. Does anyone here have any suggestions? Would it be an option to contact a place with the Rolls and ask *them* to source an appropriate stretch? I know it could cost more, but we'd have the added benefit of having the two cars from one company, which leaves less room for screw-ups on the day!

    Thanks!

    Hiya, congrats btw!

How local does the company have to be to Malahide ?

    Edit://

Im just looking over your post again, does the cars have to be from the one company or have you booked your SC already?

    Hi Abigayle,

Thanks for the well wishes and thank you even MORE for the link! Oddly enough, I'd never found that crowd before; do you know where they're based by any chance? I couldn't find it on their site...

To answer your question: No, the company doesn't need to be near Malahide. The ceremony is in Portmarnock, Dublin and the reception is down in Powerscourt, Wicklow - But we're willing to look at cars from all over the country if we were to find what we were specifically looking for!

Unfortunately, the Silver Cloud that Royal Chauffers have is also silver in colour. I'll have to ask my fiancée what she thinks of that. But either way, it's great to have a place that does white limos; they're actually quite hard to find. We haven't booked anything as of yet. The cars don't necessarily have to be from the same company, but it would make it ideal if they were as it cuts all the hassle in half.

    Thanks again!

Firstly the link I gave you in the other post, I had a quick scout round the site, and they dont give their location. I assume it is because they serve nationwide and want to be considered by all areas. Best give them a call or an email anyway, to find that out and an idea of their prices.

Now, here is a place Ive found in Kildare They have an ivory silver cloud, but they dont have an ivory or white stretch.
They have one in silver though :)

Edit:// This place dont specify where they are for the same reason, but I've a feeling they might be Dublin based. The show the interior of a Silver Cloud but didnt mention the colour, from the bit of paint-work I spotted theres a chance it could be white or ivory. He seems to have a silver stretch too.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

    Hi

I don't know if you got your cars sorted out yet.

Have you tried cupid cars in Navan, I know they have a Rolls ( not sure if the model is what you are looking for and they have white & silver stretch limousines)

    Have a look at www.cupidcars.com

If you change your mind about the Rolls, have a look at www.kpcd.ie, they also do wedding cars and are in Navan also.

    Hope that helps.

Good luck with the big day!
