Any thoughts on the new 20/20 champions league?

Top two teams from English, Australian, South African domestic championships and the IPL face off for 5 million dollars.

According to cricinfo the head of the IPL, Modi, who seems to be in charge, has said that any team fielding an ICL player will be automatically disqualified,

but it seems nearly every English team is fielding an ICL player, so do the counties weaken their chances of winning by leaving out these players or include them and automatically rule themselves out? From an Irish p.o.v. Niall O'Brian has just hit some batting form for Northants so it wouldn't be right to drop him now

Long way to go before this is a reality, imo. According to cricinfo, there are no dates, venues etc decided, and the organisers seem to be a distance away from each other about things like eligibility etc. I think the ECB may have jumped the gun in releasing this news.
