Ok I shouldnt say cures, as there really is no cure for hay fever as such, Ive been taking nasal-sprays and antihistimine tablets for 15 years now (half my life!) and i think in the past few years theyve done me no good whatsoever...in fact i think the nasal sprays only worsened the condition....its a pain in the hole cos i gotta stay in on sunny days with the windows closed and that just depresses me :(
Anybody got any alternative treatments/concoctions to help with the symptoms? cheers

Firstly I feel your pain! A few of the things ive been told through the years are - rub some vaseline around your nostrils- is supposed to catch some the pollen, chew a menthol gum and sip water - not sure about this one but apparantly it works for some. Wash hair before bed to get rid of any pollen that may be there to irritate you while you sleep, and dry your bed clothes indoors not out on the line. Its mainly prevention I suppose, Im sure youve prob heard all those before.

    good luck

My dad picked up this wax type thing that Boots were giving away as free samples in there hayfever kits a couple of weeks back.

It's a wax from what I recall. You put some of it under your nose and it basically just traps the pollen. Really reduced my dads hayfever and he's a really bad sufferer so maybe see if Boots still have them?
