So called "Bunny in a box"??

me and the Girlfreind just came home to our apartment in Booterstown to find a box outside the communal door with "HELP!! Bunnie inside box, please take care of me" wrote on it.

It looks suspicious and is marked in a way that is clearly trying to get attention. We are worried it might be something harmful like a Bomb,but at the same time wonder if there is an actual Bunnie alive inside that we should try find a home for...

The box appears to be half sealed and there doesn't sound like there is anything inside the box (we didn't touch it).It seem to be very suspect.. I'm just wondering if anyone in the area has had anything similar? or if anyone has any opinions/ thoughts on what could be inside the box? or what we should do?

If there are traces of flesh & fur after a controlled explosion ... it may well have been a bunny / gerbil / hamster.








Or a rat.


My advice == stay away from the box. Don't touch it. Don't even look in it.

My experience is bunnies make lousy bombs ... they're just too cute to explode properly.
You need weasels for that, or ferrets. They make a real meat geyser when they explode.

Voles and shrews are too small to be effective, even when you double up.

Call the police, problem solved. If it was an email that said "I'm currently in possession of a bunny that was left one box worth 0.25 cent (twenty five cent) and am looking to share it 50/05 if you send me your bank account details" would you be worried if it was a live rodent? open it and you're mad. Just call the athorities and be done with it, you live in an apartment anyway, what are you going to do with a rabbit? except maybe carrots, onions and mint sauce...
