Just wondering what do people think is the best way of doing Wide-Grip Lat Pulldowns ? Some sources say to pull down to just under eye level, while others say to pulldown to chest

    Confused

I actually like just pulling to nose level or there abouts. I've started to do all my chin ups leaning back slighty (a sternum chin bascially) and all my pulldowns to my nose. Seems to be helping my back alot.

I don't do pull downs but i do pull ups, looking up so that you're leading with the chest, so almost chest ups too. When you say wide grip pull downs though......... personally I'd be careful with those. There seems to be a belief that a wide grip adds width to your lats. But all it does is put strain on your shoulders.
