    Try tightening the main screw at the base of the grip.

    Tighten all the way, then twist back a quarter turn.

    This engages the motor and gears.

    Once you adjust it as I said, maybe use thread lock?

    I've noticed it can slip out with use, so anything to add a little friction to the threads would do.

    Personally I've not used threadlock before, so perhaps be a bit stingey with it at first, afaik its a loctite product, sort of a weak glue for screw threads.
