I grew up in Belfast and am a Protestant with strong unionist beliefs but Unionist politicians make me cringe. They get votes for one reaosn only and that is the Unionist cause. As "proper politicians" they are a waste of space.

She is married to Peter Robinson, who is currently First Minister and the DUP leader, which is very worrying, considering her husbands position.

Will Northern Ireland ever be able to move on with the bigoted unintelligent caliber of politician that represents them. You have to remember, her ilk has hated others for so long that it’s difficult for them to turn around and become human again! Maybe it would be wise for her to seek the help of a different psychiatrist for some seriously needed self help.

Then a couple of days later, the old boot reappeared on the Nolan show to continue her venomous attack on lesbian and gay people. One notable exchange focused on the Oxford English Dictionary's definition of the word ‘Abomination’:

Nolan: Do you think, for example, that homosexuality is disgusting?

Robinson: Absolutely.

Nolan: Do you think that homosexuality should be loathed?

Robinson: Absolutely.

Nolan: Do you think it is right for people to have a physical disgust towards homosexuality?

Robinson: Absolutely.

Nolan: Does it make you nauseous?

Robinson: Yes.

Nolan: Do you think that it is something that is shamefully wicked and vile?

Robinson: Yes, of course it is. It’s an abomination.

Mrs. Robinson is now under investigation by the PSNI, following complaints.

Again the infamous Mrs. Robinson reappeared and put gays with murderers on the same foothold:

"Just as a murderer can be redeemed by the blood of Christ, so can a homosexual. And that’s the message and it’s the word of God and if anyone takes issue they are taking issue with the word of God."

There have been cries from many quarters for Mrs. Robinson to apologize, which she refuses to do and to resign from her post as chair of the Assembly Health Committee.
