stolen car with 5 occupants speeding through Ringsend comes a cropper after crossing a speedbump. It crashed into a house and bust the gas pipe into the house and then travelled a further 20 metres before coming toa stop. 5 occupants got out and fled, road was closed off and residents evacuated because of the gas leak...

It happened at about 6.30 this evening on Pembroke Road in Irishtown. I got talking to a bloke there who asked me if I was a photographer and he was a bit cagey. Then a few minutes he came back over to me and asked for my name and number, said he worked in the Irish Mirror and I sent him some pics, along with a few other papers, RTE etc. Just got a text from him saying there might be something in Sunday's paper, but I woudn't hold my breath - it seemed like joyriders rather than anything else...

Deadly! Well fortunately not deadly but........

The tree in the second one looks like the black smoke in LOST. About to come and devour everyone. Must be the carrots I had for dinner.

Yes, I sent them off to a load of places. Had a call from the Sunday Mirror this morning to ask if minded my name being used in the byline and an e-mail from the Sunday World looking for more info/phone number...

I've never bought those papers before, but I guess I'll have to this week :D
