Sun Pipe Other Options

Hi, Looking for a bit of inspiration....we have a bathroom (no windows) adjacent to our landing. The bathroom used to have a skylight that would also spread light in to our landing area. We have now converted the attic so the sky light is gone. We had plans to fit a sun pipe to get some natural light back into our bathroom/ landing area but this option is not available as the pipe will have to run through the middle of our converted attic.
Can you offer some help as we are stumped and have idea how to get around this problem. Main object is to get light into the bathroom that will also fill the hall with light. One option is to put a glass floor into the attic of the bathroom to gain light from the attic, or to put glass brick into the main wall of the bathroom to get some light in,
    Any advice would be great.
    Thanks

    Glass floor above a bathroom?;)

Glass block is grand but is your floor loadbearing enough to support it?

Hi Slig, it will be frosted glass pane/sheet like you would get on a glass staircase.
