just getting to play around with my new canon 100mm f2.8...i know these could be a little sharper. some PP done in LR to increase contrast. any c&c welcome cheers -t

Lovely stuff. You seem to have captured a warmth in the colour of the rose, and the black shadows do bring out the texture of the petals. There's something going on as well that's not unlike those old oil paintings, I like!

As you say, they could be sharper but fine for a first attempt. Don't forget the lens closes down to f/32 so make sure you use it to the limit (obviously a tripod is required) and you will get great shots.
