Memory upgrade from 256mb to 512mb
    200GB Hard drive
    128 MB Nvidia GeForce 8400M

    Price €726 incl VAT

    Cheers

Are you sure you copied and pasted that correctly? It is extremely unlikely that Dell are offering a machine with 512Mb, never mind 256Mb.

That's a very high-end processor for that model, well above base spec. Fantastic value, assuming it's new and includes vat.

Memory looks odd as mentioned above but it's most likely typo. That machine would never have been available with 256Mb in the first place.

Go for it and worry about the memory later, the base spec is good enough value that I wouldn't be bothered what ram was in it.

You'd be Better of with a Vostro, or an Inspiron for that price...

To be honest, with such a high spec processor for such a low price, I smell a rat.

There is something odd about that memory, but with that processor and acceptable graphics, i would say yes, good deal. You can upgrade memory very cheaply these days.

I'd buy it (as long as it's from a reputable source) and upgrade the ram myself (2GBs should cost you around €50).

I think its a very good deal. Processor is real good. Memory can be added any time like Almighty said.
