    Hidihi !

I have been a long time user of benefit makeup , i absolutely love it, i use the playsticks and find it stays on all day and gives great coverage but its beginning to hit the ol pocket cost wise so i got the loreal mineral makeup. i have used this so far only once successfully ! i just cant seem to get the application right !!! i cleanse and tone and moisturize every morning and then put on the make up but yet it still manages to cling to some areas more so than others and i end up walking around like patchwork !
Is there a secret trick to putting it on ???????????????

Try using a foundation brush and give your moisturiser at least 5 mins to soak in before application of foundation.

i used to find mineral make up tricky, but you need a good kabuki brush to buff on the powder. Also spraying a product like mac fix plus on your kabuki brush will give a much better finish.

unfortunatly a good kabuki brush like the mac 182 or mac 183 will set u back, but will last forever.

mac fix plus is amazing! i use it for so much different make up applications!

the brush that comes with the loreal makeup is a cheapie scratchy one and will do you no favours.

Fix+ is €15, and it's well worth it!
It's great for spritzing over mineral makeup to get rid of the powdery look, and I spray it on my 187 after I do my makeup and buff it over my face. It makes your skin look fresh and dewy.
A good kabuki will def help, try the Bare Escentuals one, or if you're looking for a cheaper version, Bourjois have one that's supposed to be quite good.
Primer will help too, if you don't already use it. MAC prep and prime or Smashbox photofinish are the only good ones I can think of that you can get in Ireland.

If you're in Dublin, Laura Mercier's primer is one of the best, and their best selling product afaik. Expensive though, over €35 I'd say.
