Hi, I am starting a round the world trip and considering buying a laptop in Hong Kong or Singapore, Has anyone here bought one there? Is it good value, worthwhile etc? Also can anyone recommend a model, budget is around $600 for it, nothing too fancy needed, perhaps watch a few movies, play a bit of poker and internet…

Hi,

I am starting a round the world trip and considering buying a laptop in Hong Kong or Singapore, Has anyone here bought one there? Is it good value, worthwhile etc? Also can anyone recommend a model, budget is around $600 for it, nothing too fancy needed, perhaps watch a few movies, play a bit of poker and internet email etc.

Alternatively any second hand laptops in Ireland, or perhaps buy one in Portugal either?
