    Hey ..
    I have a mack warranties from lenses i bought from KEa,

    thing is one of them i didn't register , and its been 30 days since
    i bought it, does this mean that the warranty is useless ??

    Yes. You need to register within 30 days of purchase.

    Well how is it validated ?

    I mean whats stopping me registering now and claiming i got it 15 days ago ?

    they ask for a copy of the receipt

    Hmm .. I bought it on ebay ...

    So .. is there another warranty that I am entitled too , ?

    given the fact that i spent 1200 on this lens !!

    Your lens would have it's own warranty. Of course, if you bought it from HK, then you would have to ship it back to HK if there's a fault found.

    But, some companies do issue worldwide warranty.

    The Mack warranty is generally 3 year, while the company warranty is generally 1 year.

    OK well at the moment
    the mack site is down ... with a notice to disregard the 30 day reg period,
    and it has been about 30 days since i got the lens so maybe i'll get away with it,
    so when you bought it with ebay what do you include as the receipt ?

    the order code ?
