hi all , feeling a little bit shy doing this here but i thought if i was going to pull this through i might need a little support

    im 17
    male
    about 98Kg and 6ft
    naturally big boned ,broad shoulders

now that school is over for the summer i've decided that enough is enough and to loose some(allot) of weight
i can't afford a gym membership and life quite far out in the country.

since the summer has begun i've cut down the amount ive been eating and what i have been eating , no sweets or that kind of stuff , even though my mother never buys that stuff anyway

breakfast is usually a bowl of crunchy nut with skimmed milk , or else and egg with some toast and salt , lunch is usually some fruit and nuts and maybe some wholegrain bread, and for dinner it's a home cooked well balanced meal and throughout the day i drink more tha 2litres of water.

i go walking in the evenings for about an hour (5km) with the dog and do some pressups and weights ( even though i know very little about it) usually upper body stuff trying to work off my chest.

does anyone have anything to add any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.

am i better off do do an hours walking , maybe 30 mins jogging(with walking breaks) or cycling? for fat loss?

Game.... It's genuinely as simple as eat less junk and anything processed, increase the good stuff like veg and lean meat and move more, lots more.

Instead of walking the dog try buying a pair of runners and jogging the dog :) Initially it'll be tough but you'll get better and err... so will your dog :D Try increasing the time you spend out running as the weeks go by. Change things up by going for cycles some nights. If you have access to a pool/sea go swimming. Just more more at a higher intensity. Walking, although better than absolutely nothing isn't going to do much for weight loss.

If you have access to any kind of weights then squats, deadlifts and benching are three fantastic exercises although there are better on boards than me to advise on weights and a routine.

And..... it takes time..... You won't look like Brad Pitt after a month but you'll start noticing changes in terms of fitness if you keep yourself honest and pushing yourself out the door for a run/cycle/swim at least 4 nights a week.

    Best of luck.
