I think it was fairly negligible in reality. An assasination here, a bit of intimidation there.

Probably its biggest impact was in diverting allied forces that had been assigned offensive roles to more mundane garrison duties due to fears of the impact it might have.

It didn't really much further than the planning stage.

Instead of an organised clandestine movement, it was just few small groups working independently, not posing any serious threat.

Also, a lot of Werwolf members ended up fighting Soviets in Poland, together with the members of the Polish Home Army,members of the SS and any other people who had reasons to fear russians.

Never amounted to anything.It was supposed to be used if the Alpenfestung [Alpine fortress] around Bertechtsgarten and Sthn Germany had been more fact than fantasy.Most effective mission was the assination of the Allied emplaced mayor of Koblenz in 1945. The concept in the end was that any German citizen coulld be of the Werewolves.It was going to be a elite unit of stay behind gureillas to create mayhem behind the lines.However by 1945 it was way too late to set up any such units and the German pouplation had enough and were totally demoralised to start any effective resistance.
