Get glasses before going travelling?

    Hi,

I'm 22 and have never worn glasses but I've noticed recently that my eyesight has gone a bit downhill and I now find it difficult to read the score on football matches, the number on the bus down the road, small writing in the board in lectures etc. It's really quite minor (I think) and it generally doesn't affect my day to day life especially now that I'm finished college.

So, I'm going travelling in early July for about 8 months and was wondering whether it's worth my while getting glasses sorted out and bringing them with me given that I would rarely use them anyway.

    Thoughts?
