high performance phone batteries

hi guys i have a nokia 6300 and i find the battery life to be terrible, only getting about a 1 day to a full charge. is there such a thing as a high performance/longer lasting replacement battery that is available for these phones or in fact any new phone, since i find most of them to give very poor talk time? thanks ed
