    Hi All

We are doing the register office thingy next week as we have already got married abroad, so it is just a formality.

We had our paperwork appointment a while ago and everybody in the place was in full wedding dresswear, we are thinking, up to that point that we could show up in jeans t-shirt etc... As it not our big day out! Or at least in our work suits because we are working that morning, which shows it is just a formal thing for us.

But we are now worried that we will look like it a marriage of convenience or worse! can we wear what we want to the office (and our witnesses)?

Wear what you like. Yes you will see brides in white but you will also see brides in smart clothes. It doesn't matter what you wear - they will marry you no matter what you are wearing!

Lol! I love it.. Would you not take at least the rest of the day off for it, even if it is a formality? :)

Of course you can wear what you like for it. No harm in a little dolly up though. You will still have to have your witnesses there at least. I only say this if it were me, but I'd do something like this (minus the flowers & lapel) :
