Looks like another winner from The Coens..

Great cast, great music used (love that Elbow song) and another obligatory Frances McDormand casting! ;)

Will be released here in October.

Funny this one comes across as more ladykillers than big lebowski to me.

Had really high hopes for this one (it sounds tremendous) but I feel a bit let down by the trailer.

Hopefully they'll pull it out of the bag but Brad Pitts character looks like he could get annoying fast!

File my opinion under "hmmmm". I can't say I have ever been the biggest fan of the Coens when they do their leftfield black comedies. I hush it quietly, but have never enjoyed The Big Lebowski for one. Their comedies always come across as being a bit too smug and knowing. Too ... "zany"? I dunno, I'll reserve full judgment until I see it though.

    Eh, it looks ok.

Hard to think what wouldn't have been a step down after No Country to be fair.

surprised at the reaction here. i think it looks great... interesting cast. the story could end up being a bit hodge-podge but if it gives enough laughs it can be forgiven.

also, is it just me or did brad pitt do the "tyler durdan" laugh there?

I didnt laugh once at that. Hmm

Not sure about this one myself, the trailer doesn't particularly look thrilling, but I'd give the Coens the benifit of doubt.

Ive come to expect more from the Coens though.

Immensely talented and imaginative film makers and Im a huge fan of what they do...every film they make cant be a stone cold classic but Ill always be a little disapointed when one does'nt quite live up.

Could be great of course but given the premise, plot and cast the trailer is most definately underwhelming for me.
