Yes, unless he's burning off as much as he eats through exercise.

Don't use it - it's bad news. And even though a pharmacy's involvement would suggest this is a legitimate, healthy way to lose weight, it actually isn't. It does however mean plenty of money for the pharmacy - it's very expensive.
Getting back to normal eating will cause the weight to pile back on - much of the weight lost on Lipotrim is muscle and water rather than fat.

No it isnt, lipotrim is a diet where all meals are replaced by powder shakes, not just two of them.

If he's lost three stone while at least eating one decent meal then fair play.

There are different ways of doing Lipotrim, one is two Lipotrim meals and one normal meal a day. Slimfast is also done on a similar principle.

If he goes back to eating how he used to, then yes.

If he replaces the shakes with a comparable meal (eg same calorific value) AND STICKS WITH IT, all other things being equal, no.

I went on Lipotrim last October for two months and lost 3 stone. Have kept it off and Lost another stone by doing weight watchers aswell. For me it was the best decision, but we are all different. It is really difficult at times but worth it in the end. I would say to anyone thinking of doing it, you need strong will power and dont be under the illusion that when the weight falls off it will stay off. You need to keep up regular exercise and look after your diet. I wouldn't suggest anymore than 2 months though. I admit I started feeling a little run down on week 8. Thats when I knew to stop

My other three-quarters did Lipotrim late 2006 and lost 4 stone. He re-introduced food slowly and seemed to be keeping it off for a while but then he went and broke his arm. Sitting at home all day he gained it all back.

He has tried to do Lipotrim since but finds it too hard now. He thinks it's because he knows exactly how hard it is whereas the first time it was easier to battle through because he didn't know and just took it one day at a time.

One meal replacement that I know of where you eat a small meal and drink 2 shakes daily is called Myoplex. OP, could this be the one you are talking about?
