US shows writing a lot worse after strike?

This is more inspired by the comments on Bones, a show I watch intermittently. The quality of the couple of shows I saw, was poor by comparison with ones I've seen from earlier. In common with that show it struck me that some of the other shows, especially the CSI franchise and even Criminal Minds were of a far lesser quality after the strike. Was this true overall or is it just my imagination?

Couldn't generalise and say all writing was.

I will admit the shoddy writing of 'Greys Anatomy' improved (somewhat) after the strike, and 'Lost' still was excellent. But stuff like 'Brothers and Sisters' and 'My Name Is Earl' really were desperate post-strike.

Yeah, Lost kept up its momentum really well. House had a really good finale too.

Yep.. agreed. Probably the best finale this year (even better than 'Lost' in my opinion).

Even voted for it in the 'Best Finale' nominations over the TV Awards (GET VOTING PEOPLE!).

I'd been saving my vote for that category until I saw Lost, and now I'm undecided. I did really like it, but maybe not as much as I was expecting. I agree, put the two parts of the House finale together and it was better than Lost.
