There is a known insurance company in Ireland that is offering quick settlements in claims to avoid the costs of going through solicitors. It was in the media recently. They tell you that they can will settle and have a check out to you within days after an accident if the case is closed. They will try to put you off going legal in that if it goes to court it can take two to three years and you may come out with less. Whats the opinion on this?

well this is good for the simple cases with just vehicle damage. At least it can be sorted with little fuss. Im not so sure about the case closed idea, I think it is possible to claim at a later date in all cases if you find delayed injuries etc. Maybe its just a tactic to put people off a little.
