Natural successor to Nokia 6233?

Every couple of years there seems to be a business phone that has the "title" of the standard business phone. It was the 6230i, then the 6233.

I'm just wondering what you all consider to be the latest high usage rate business phone?

I have a 6300, but the constant rattle of the side lights in my car kit drive me bonkers. It hasn't got the handy little features such as the removal of the key guard once its in a car kit cradle, or the ability to see a good number of reminder notes on the main screen.

I'm still waiting for "the phone".. i.e. the one after the 6233 that businesses buy in bulk and is very reliable, with all the handy features.

It was never the 6233 really, was it?

I'd have thought the Nokia e51 had the potential but maybe it's too good ?

The Nokia 6230i is still going strong in a lot of camps and whole truck / van / etc fleets are equiped with car kits to suit.

Another vote here for the e51. Had the 6233 and 6230i before that. I've heard rumours on mobile-review that a true s40 successor to the 6233 is on the way.

The E51 is proving a very popular business and consumer phone

It has to be the E51 really. The E50 didn't have the same impact as it is having, so it is even more apparent that the E51 is a big success.

Does the E51 have the function where it recognises that its in a car kit and turns off the key guard for example?

Also, how many notes / reminders does it show on the screen?

I'm not sure on the car kit question.

It'll show quite a few reminders as the screen is pretty big, but don't know exactly how many.
