I was serving Jason from take that tonight in a well known pub in dublin.(well im 99 per cent sure it was him especially as a few girls came up to him and also,he had the same accent as the take that lads.

anyway, i was looking on youtube to check if it was him and found videos of screaming fans and girls crying their eyes out when they met him.

Now when serving him, i didnt act any differently than when serving any other customer because im not a take that fan in the slightest....my question is, if a massive fan was serving him at the bar, and recognised him, would they have a crying fit like the fans on youtube??wouldnt that be extremely embarassing...?!

(*and yes, a big part of this post is me showing off that i served a "celebrity" haha)

i met jeff martin a couple of times, of whom im a *massive* fan. the dude is just like... wow. i have his lyrics tattoo'd on me. he's just incredible, and talking to him was somewhere between trying to act cool, not bother him, and tell him how amazing he was all at the same time.

also, after one of the gigs, i met him again, and was absolutely *pissed*, got an autograph and a hug, and decided i wanted another hug, which would mean another autograph, so ended up pulling my train timetable out of my pocket for him to sign, before getting another hug...

    haha, fun times :D

I've met my idols (Nightwish obviously!) a few times and each time I get a little nervous but then I realise they are just normal people too. I met the band Within Temptation too, and they were so down to earth and normal I couldnt make a fool out of myself!

Normally I wouldn't care, but if Meatloaf walked in, I'd be over like a shot.

Would you say 'lovely to meet you, Mr Meat.' or would it be 'Lovely to meet you Mr. Loaf'? Just curious;).

If I met Morrissey, Johnny Marr or the members of New Order, I'd act all couldn't-give-a-sh1t but secretly I'd be having a freak-out!

If I met Noel Fielding or Russel Brand I'd be acting all cool to try and out-cool them, but really I'd be like "wow wow wow!"

Dara O'Briain... I'd actually turn into a quivering idiot. I mean i'm already a quivering idiot most of the time but it'd be multiplied tenfold!

I've met one person who I admire. I'm one of these people with a fly by wire mouth.
So I bent his ear telling him how great he is, and how happy he makes me by doing his job.
He ended up blushing and begging me to stop.

Thank god he didn't have a nice handbag too or that could have been embarrassing.

I would give anything to meet any member of radiohead. I am a huge fan and have been for years. I'd try to stay cool and just thank them for their brilliance, but I'd prolly go all red and just say hi.

The only famous person I've ever met was Cillian Murphy, I passed him by on my own (he was standing at a street corner, waiting for someone I'd say) and I gave him a big smile and said hi. He gave me a big smile back and said hi too. I was chuffed that I didn't go "chopf!chuch!er,emmm,it's you!", which was going through my head:o

I saw Graham Norton while going through heathrow. He's much taller than you'd think.

If I ever met a real monkey I'd probably totally freak out...

Depends upon when you met them? If performing on stage, so many fans get caught up in the moment and go with the flow. But running into a star on the street? I doubt that most would even recognize them. It's not like they wear a halo or carry a persona force field that exudes from them in daily life. They have to go to the loo too, if they drink too much...

i have met loads of famous people but i wouldnt get starstruck over it. after, i kinda own some of them. going to see movies and buying cds and stuff, they wouldnt be famous if it wasnt for me.

mind you, if i meet johnny depp, that might be a different story :p
