Does a handicap of 11 qualify for Junior or Intermediate scratch cups ??

I've noticed that some intermediate SCs start at 10 and others at 12 ??
Is the cut off point up to the hosting club or is it governed by the GUI ??

    Very confusing

    It should normally be inter

Juniors tend to be 5 - 9 but can vary a little.

    Thanks,
I think I saw Inter SC at Bettystown (handicaps 12 to 18). I could be wrong.

The hosting club has the power to change it within reason ie. (Chaging a junior scratch from 5-9 to 4-10). But from what I know 11 is definitly Intermediate.

Yeah, it can vary from club to club I play in Junior ones and it can be 4/5 to 9/10. 11 I think would be intermediate all the time. But the safest bet is to ring the club and check or ask when booking.
