Help with a translation

I was hoping somebody might be able to help me translate the following. I'm going for an interview next week for the post grad primary teaching and one of the questions which seems to be asked a lot to test modh conn is what would you do to relax during the course.

I was thinking of saying something like the following:

"if i was lucky enough to get a place on the course i would try to organise my time well so that i would have time for both study and leisure time. I have a big interest in sport, especially the gaa so i would continue to play hurling and football and we would have matches most weekends. "

Any help with the correct way to say that would be great.
