I think it was said in another thread, but I'd say it's a publicity stunt for something, most likely the new X-Files film.

It's good to see a claim like this being made in the mainstream media, and hopefully the final video will recieve plenty of attention. The more attention it gets the more likely it is to be unambigously either debunked or confirmed.






(and can we please not have the whole "aliens don't belong in the paranormal" argument every time they get mentioned, for the time being at least this is the best place, if that changes in the future, such as a ufo forum being created, or the bordean times one, we can change that then)

It is not going to be shown today to the general public. This is a private showing to selected members of the media. The idea is to generate publicity for an upcoming documentary.

Are you kidding? Rock Mountain Local News != 'mainstream media'. Also, I didn't see them making any claims. They merely reported the guy claims he has proof and he's holding a news conference. Presumably he's local.

It doesn't bode well that Mr. Peckman is apparently behind this genius marketing idea..

I'm waiting for grainy footage of a puppet and a plethora of excuses made by this guy for why there's no actual proof.

Its only going to be shown to the media today. Public viewing next month. One reporter said at first it looked fake. Then he said the movment is just too real. It blinks , it has facial features that move.
It was filmed by an abductee .

Well i wouldnt agree with it all being paranormal. If it were me i would split it into Paranormal Cryptozoology and UFO .

But at the same time i dont think there is the community out there to warrent the split. So its fine the way it is.

If there were a UFO forum, i would use it though .

*By that I mean those with some technical knowledge of video etc, or those with more experience of looking at this type of thing than me, probably most of the regulars here!

Cheers 6th, all I can say is if that proof is real, then hollywood have a lot of explaining to do! It looks like a grey from xfiles and every discovery re-construction I have ever seen. I think that vid is a fail!

We've seen the original video and the fake is relevant because its a remake of the original.

Not sure when the 'real' video is being released in the documentary, it was only the media that got to see it so far!
I love the way people dismiss the whole idea of alien beings, when the odds are stacked on the side of them actually existing due to the unreal size of space and its ever expanding (from what where told) despite us having to below what where told about space as a select few have only ever been up there!
