O2 mobile broadband - 12 month contract @ €40 per month

Just noticed that O2 mobile broadband now seems to be €30 per month.

Does anyone know when this price drop occured from €40 per month for non-o2 customers?

I got it toward the end of January so i'm on a 12 month contract @ €40 per month for a fairly poor service. Has anyone paying €40 contacted them and asked about bringing us into line with new customers at €30 per month?

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow to see what they say but just wondering if anyone else has asked about this already.

There was a thread here a while back about this, but I think it's fallen off the end of the forum, I couldn't find it. I think a few here managed to get changed to the €30 a month rate.

Change happened end Feb/beginning March, IIRC. Thread was probably a month or two ago.

It is possible to have it reduced to 30 euros. It is even possible to be credited for months that you have been charged 40 Euro....
