has anyone ever been? Can you give me the low down on the scene? Am talking about the clubs, after parties, sunset clubs etc. I am aware the island has a 24 hour scene

Its like the Ibiza of Croatia. It is unlike any of the other islands in Croatia because of the big clubbing scene. Novalja Beach is where the 24 hour clubs are, but in general the island is full of greasy pervy Italians, and the clubs empty out around 5am anyway. There are also a lot of boy racers as the island is connected to the mainland. I certainly wouldn't go back, it was the worst part of our brilliant holiday around the Croatian coast. A lot of other islands are quaint but also have a brilliant social life, like Rab and Hvar. It is also hard to get accommodation on arrival compared to other islands.
