    am i better off using 2 x 2gig or 4x 1gig ram

    If you're bothered with overclocking and future additions to Ram the 2x2 are a better choice.
    If you're not bothered with the above then 2x2 is probably still better as its usually cheaper to buy ram that way.

    your better off with 2x2gb for 2 reasons:

    1. Not all motherboards like to work with 4 x 1gb
    2. IT makes upgrading in the future alot easier.
