I know before I type this message that it is a stupid question. Basically I would love to try out the new trial dtt. But how do you know where you get your signal from and if this transmotter is DTT enabled and taking part in the trail. BTW I live just outside Portarlington in Co. Offaly.

You have no chance from 3 rock or Clermont . But might be on the fringe for Mount Leinster. Houses can get Analogue TV from Mount Leinster in Mountmellick . You could try a UHF aerial pointing at Mount Leinster? for channels 39 45
