No different from using a USB stick, Hard Drive or even CDs. He's just using the phones as a storage device. Although it'd make ya wonder what would happen if one of the phones rang.

Very true. I could picture the scene with regards to the phone ringing. Excuse me folks while I take this call, it may be important and the whole conversation being broadcasted to everybody in the audience. You would hope it's not someone giving out!

    whoa,hold on,hold on now,okay okay okay.

what exactly have we got here?
can the dj "drag" the music files over to these devices(hardware) and apply pitch bend, pitch control etc etc?

or are these two phones(sony ericssons i presume) just going into the "line in" of the dj mixer?

    please enlighten me.

however i do hope the music is being utilised in a drag and drop fashion to apply pitch bend, and all that malarky.

regarding a phone ringing, you can set most new phones to airplane mode, which disable the phone features, but keeps the media side of it working.

    that would prevent calls
