Trying to find out foods that have a super high calorie count. Basically a family member has lost half a stone the past week and needs to put it back on for health reasons, all that's important is the higher the calories the better. She can't eat huge amounts of anything so the higher the count the better. Any advice?

um nuts, nut butters, full fat dairy, meat. To put on weight, s/he should focus on high carb intake.

Loads of nuts and oils, milk, eggs etc. Just eat as much carbs and fat as possible.

    Edit: Bah

Cool, she just finds it hard to eat anything at the moment. She's taking ensure so is getting what she needs from them but just needs to keep her wait up too. I'll get her some nuts and if she keeps them nearby can probably eat them bit by bit.

All the info is on the packets these days. Brown bread peanut butter sambos. Bananas are pretty high in calories too.

Chances are that if she lost half a stone in a week without running seven marathons, some of that is water. She doesn't need to eat 24,500 calories to put it back on.

I cant eat large quantities and have to eat high calorie food also (due to surgery following an illness), I find that mayonaise is brilliant. I used to eat Peanut Butter with cottage cheese (tastes better than it sounds). Eat the full fat versions of everything. I have Ratatoille with mayonasie or peanuts and mayonaise or cheese. It is probably not the healthiest but it is all that I can eat at the moment. Good luck.
