Nice courses with low green fees?

    Folks I know there are plenty of places around but what about having our own thread with all the info in one place.

    Longford Golf Course: http://www.countylongfordgolfclub.com/

    Green Fees: €20 Midweek and €30 over the weekend.

    Strokestown Golf Club: http://www.golf.ireland.ie/Result/IndividualResultTCS.aspx?touristItemID=61467 (only link I can find)

    Green Fees: €15. Its actually a decent course with a few tricky holes. Only downside is the greens are a bit small and when I have been out over the weekend the greens are hairy and only trimmed at 4-5pm.

    We usually try sniff out cheap n cheerful courses. Heres a few.

    Grange Castle - €23 midweek, €30 weekend
    Sillogue - €18 midweek, €25 weekend
    Bodenstown / ladyhill - €25 / €18 weekends (ladyhill is the dutch gold of golf courses)
    Newbridge - €22 midweek, €30 weekend
    Elm Green - €25 midweek, €32 weekend
    Dublin City - €25 midweek, €32 weekend

    Two nice ones are Coollattin (Co. Wicklow) & Castlecomer (Co. Kilkenny), I'm not sure on the green fees but I sure they are not much more than €30 'ish.
