    So heading over to Paris.
I'm on meteor, can I ring French phones and mobiles fine over there or do I have to set something up?
As for ATM cards and getting money, I'm with Permanent TSB, have no credit card just an ATM, what is the best way to take out cash? Anyway I can use it over there or shall I just bring money with me? Just going for a week.

    Thanks!

Your phone will work without having to set anything up.--> Metor Roaming

Does your ATM card have any other symbols on it such as Maestro or Cirrus ?

Weather is a little changeable at the moment (sunny/windy at the moment, raining all day yesterday) so take a light coat to keep you dry in case of showers but not too heavy as it's still pretty warm out.

    Thanks mate!

I don't think my ATM will work so, doesn't have those. Hmm.
Now I just hope my landlord speaks better English than I do French. :)

The TSB 'mycash' and 'student' accounts doesn't seem to provide you with a card that works outside of Ireland while the Switch current account does.

Always worth asking the bank though...

Just PM if you need any other help for the week in Paris. Been here 10 years so used to pointing people in the right direction :)

Thanks! I'll mostly be on the lookout for the usual things such as the louvre, tower and markets.
Will be looking around for vegetarian restaurants most the time. :-)
